The aim of this meeting is to discuss and to contrast the different political and scientific strategies applied by different public and private entities/institutions, to encourage and to stimulate the scientific community from universities and research centers to achieve the highest scientific level of excellence. What we do, we do well? How can we improve?
OBJECTIVES
The main objective of the workshop is to share different organizational structures that have led these centers to achieve the Accreditation and Support of Centres of Excellence “Severo Ochoa” and Units of Excellence “María de Maeztu”. The five Centres of Excellence “Severo Ochoa” and the two Units of Excellence “María de Maeztu” are located in the UAB campus. This makes the UAB the campus with the highest number of institutes with scientific excellence distinction that exists in Spain.
